...

Hi everyone. Today we have a very special, totally uncalled for and unexpected lil story I will conjure up from my mind in this last minute blag. Read on as our hero goes on in his intrepid mission, bringing him through danger, traps, and finally, treasure!

As I walk slowly towards the rock formation, I hear a shuffle from behind me. I immediately looked back, knowing that these treacharous cliff routes hide the most notorious of thieves and assasins. I firmly hold my 22. revolver in one hand, and a pocket knife in the other just in case there were 2 of em. I slowly approache the wall of the cliff, reminding myself how to enter Sahim's lair. Sahim is an infamous rogue, though his real name is Shaharel Asyraf. The codename, Sahim was given by the UDMF, the United Deserts Military Force. I was in that group once, before they had abandoned me in these accursed cliffs. Now im left to fend for myself, with only a few essentials to keep me going. I looked back again, to make sure no one was going to backstab me while im droning on about how I got here. I was supposed to be dispatched to the war zone located around 1000km north of my current position. God knows why one of those sergeants ordered his men to kick me out of the moving WATT, war-torn all-terrain truck.

Finally I reached the shades of the wall of the cliff, the sun blocked by the rocky roofs floating over my head. Wait a minute, floating? I looked up again, and saw 2 men land beside me, one was equipped with a shovel, while the other had nunchucks. Who uses those anyways!? I quickly jumped to my left, the one with the shovel swiped the air with his shovel, where my head was supposed to be. I threw my knife at the one with the nunchucks, hit his jugular and immediately killed him. The other one ran towards my direction, I easily kicked his bucket for him when my 22. revolver trigger went off. I looked around for a second to see if they had back up, but was sure that no one was present. I took a deep breathe, and exhaled. Easy.

I checked the bodies of the 2 desert thieves, and took a water canteen, some camel jerky and their desert clothes. Desert thieves are expert survivalists in these harsh terrain, but then I decided I didnt need the clothes since im gonna be heading towards a cooler area. I left their weapons, knowing it will only slow me down. I walked on, heading towards the sun. Trying to find a certain cliff wall that would be a great place to be a secret door to Sahim's lair. I searched, and searched, and searched, and finally came across to a suspicious looking cliff wall. It had blood all over it, possibly the result of a nasty fight between Sahim's men and a trespasser. I just hope that my blood wouldnt be there when I enter. I recited the magical words, "Open says me" and the wall opened up, revealing a narrow cave entrance. It was really obvious that it was Sahim's lair, by the presence of 3 desert thieves, shocked seeing someone manage to trespass Sahim's lair, either that or my stupidity to enter it.

One of the thieves had a dagger, while the others were bare handed. The one with the dagger went first, of course. They seemed determined that they would win the fight, if only they saw the revolver I was holding behind my back. I quickly shot 3 rounds at all 3 men, them dropping dead in sync with my bullet casings. I took a peek around the corner of the narrow cave, and saw shadows approaching. By the looks of it, there could possibly be at least 4 of em, too many for me to handle. 3 is ok, but 4 is a crowd. I took the right decision, camp out for the night. I dashed outside, feeling glad about the safety I am in. I jumped behind a rock, and heard the cliff wall slowly close. I peeked out, and saw the coast was clear. Maybe its better to go in the night. I searched for some food, water and a safe place to rest for a few hours, while waiting for night time to come. And so after finding some berries, a tree to rest his head on and filled his water canteen, he slept. And slept. And slept....
